Bernama News Channel (BNC), a prominent national public news television channel based in Kuala Lumpur, has recently enhanced its broadcast audio capabilities by installing two Jünger Audio Easy Loudness audio loudness and control devices. The devices, which were supplied by local distributor JAA Systems Sdn Bhd, have been seamlessly integrated into BNC’s operations by systems integrator Uxera Sdn Bhd, ensuring precise audio management across the network’s broadcasts.

The decision to implement Jünger Audio’s Easy Loudness devices came after BNC conducted extensive testing and evaluation of various audio solutions available in the market. The tests focused on key factors such as loudness and level control effectiveness, delay and lipsync accuracy, ease of use, and the range of available features. After a thorough assessment, Jünger Audio’s solutions emerged as the most effective for controlling audio loudness and levels, providing the perfect balance of functionality and simplicity.

“Jünger Audio devices are straightforward and simple to set up,” explained Hashim Yahaya, Broadcast Engineer at Uxera Sdn Bhd. “Once the configuration has been set, they do not need any adjustment. They work flawlessly.”

The setup at BNC includes one Easy Loudness device installed as the main unit, with a second device serving as a backup. Both units are connected to an XAP remote panel, allowing for efficient monitoring and management of the audio channels directly from the master control room. This configuration ensures that BNC can maintain consistent audio quality and control across its broadcasts, enhancing the viewer experience.
