Singapore:
Live production services provider Phoenix Broadcast Solutions has invested in a range of Calrec’s audio broadcast technology as part of a three-year enterprise partnership. The company hopes that the equipment will help it deliver live event services combining advanced engineering with a creative approach to captivating live sports and entertainment experiences. The Calrec installations and integrations are being carried out by JAA Systems.
The agreement will see Calrec deliver its systems to support Phoenix Broadcast Solutions’ growth plans. The first delivery included a mix of Calrec’s IP Argo S and Argo M consoles, modular Type R IP mixing systems and ImPulse IP processing core. This initial IP installation phase forms the heart of Phoenix Broadcast Solutions’ portable flypack infrastructure. Designed for flexible and agile deployment, the fly-aways deliver the power and reliability of a full broadcast studio on-the-fly.
Founded by industry veteran Siddhartha Tyagi, Phoenix Broadcast Solutions chose to invest in Calrec based on the company’s technical support framework and forward-thinking technological innovation. The services provider is positioning itself as a trusted partner for global broadcasters and, with a roster of high-profile events coming up, the company has selected technology partners that enable its expansion over time.
“Calrec’s inclusive ongoing support partnership is a game-changer,” said Tyagi. “Together, we created a multi-year framework of regular training sessions to assist engineers with continued skills development. From commissioning to follow-up briefings and onsite assistance, everything has been thoroughly considered and executed. Mastering new technology takes time, but the outstanding support from Calrec has accelerated our team’s capabilities and confidence.”
“Calrec’s ethos is a ‘Technology Partner for Life’,” added Michael Reddick, Calrec’s regional sales manager. “We don’t just sell audio broadcast solutions; we build strong relationships where our customers’ needs continue to be met long after the contract ink has dried. This important partnership with Phoenix Broadcast Solutions further demonstrates our deep understanding of the needs of the market and customers, and our commitment to delivering the highest-quality products and services.”
